Built From the Archive, Born for Culture
This one didn’t make it to production, but it’s a strong example of what’s possible working within constraints. Nike maintained an approved media repository for this pitch work, and the brief was to build a 4K motion piece entirely from existing assets, no new shoots, no original footage.
The job was curatorial as much as creative: finding the right material in that library and shaping it into something that felt new. The concept centered on the Jordan 1’s social and cultural impact, tracing its reach beyond basketball into fashion, music, and street culture.
Built as a pitch piece, it never went to air, but it stands as a good marker of how far a strong concept can stretch when the only raw material is what’s already on the shelf.
